A road accident has claimed the life of yet another Kisii leader barely two weeks after a Nyamira County MCA was also killed on the road.
Nyamaiya MCA and majority leader Elijah Osiemo was killed in a road accident on August 7 and his burial is slated for Monday next week.
Today, Eric Achoki who was a parliamentary aspirant in West Mugirango died in a road accident at 2 am on the express way when his car allegedly hit a truck on the road.
Achoki is also a lawyer by profession who practices in the city.
Lawyer Danstan Omari has send a message of condolence to the family and friends of the late politician saying as a county they have lost a great leader.
“West mugirango and the legal fraternity has lost a great leader and legal mind . Its just last week we lost the leader of majority yet through accident. Nyamira County is in turmoil ,” Omari said
West Mugirango MP Steve Mogaka has also sent his condolences saying he was a great man and West Mugirango has lost a good leader.
