City Car Dealer Kairo in Court Yet Again for Defrauding Client 3 M.

Controversial car dealer Khalif Kairo real names Joseph Wambui was on Wednesday arraigned in a Nairobi court for another offense of defrauding a different client Sh 3 M.

Kairo was re-arrested yesterday at the Milimani Law courts just minutes after attending mention of his other case.

Kairo was charged with cheating contrary to section 315 of the Penal Code.

According to police, Kairo on diverse dates between October 5 and 7, 2024 at Westlands business park in Nairobi, by means of fraudulent tricks obtained Sh 3,045,000 from Dan Odhiambo Odundo by falsely pretending he was in a position to import him a motor vehicle from Japan.

Appearing before Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi, Kairo denied the charges and the file allocated to a different court for bail and bond determination.
