12 senior police officers accused of the murder of Baby Samantha Pendo during the 2017 post election protests are expected to take plea today before
The officers are expected before Milimani High Court Judge Muingai where they will be charged with murder.
The officers include Titus Yoma, Titus Mutune, John Chengo, Benjamin Koima, Benjamin Lorema, Volker Edambo, Cyprine Robe, Josphat Sensira, Mohammed Ali Guyo and James Rono.
Their plea taking has been adjourned on several occasions following the non appearance of two who are yet to present themselves to court.
The DPP had asked for the plea to be halted until all the arrest of the other officers but the victims lawyers have opposed saying the ones in court can take plea as they pursue the others.
