Brian Mwenda who has been alleged to be a fake lawyer appeared in court on Wednesday to heed to summons of plea taking but he has not been charged.
Mwenda was accompanied to court by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Lawyer Danstan Omari who was later joined by Lawyer John Khaminwa.
Khaminwa told Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina that there was mischief in how the matter was being handled because they were told to come on for plea but none was registered.
Mwenda presented himself at the DCI for questioning and left late into the night to Muthaiga police station where he was granted a Sh 100,000 police bond.
Mwenda and his lawyer Omari are still in court waiting to see if the plea will be registered
