The lady who is alleged to have stabbed Nairobi Hospital Finance officer more than 25 times is not a minor but an adult.
Anne Adhiambo was arraigned before court on Wednesday where the state asked for time to complete investigations.
During submissions, the prosecution told court that the lady is above 18 years.
The state urged court to add them more time to conclude investigations saying they need proper investigations done.
He claimed that the CCTV footage is still being analyzed and the blood stains have yet to be analyzed.
Magistrate Zainab Abdul allowed the application by state saying after considering the grounds she found that they raised weighty issues and in the interest of the respondent.
However on the issue of age, the court said the issue of age is still under investigation.
Adhiambo will be detained for one more week to allow police conclude investigations.
The case will be mentioned on October 25.
