Pastor Ezekiel Odero told the senate committee that he does not know Shakahola suspect pastor Mackenzie on a personal level.
He said he used to see Mackenzie on TV preaching from around 2010 just like any other preacher but he had never met him.
He only met him once when he wanted to buy Times TV which belonged to Mackenzie and he paid Sh 500,000 as down payment for the station that was being sold for Sh 3.5 million.
However, the deal didn’t go through as the pastor decided to open his own Chanel World Evangelical TV and abandoned Times TV.
Odero told the committee that since then they have never met and he has never gone to Shakahola he does not know where it is.
