Famous Tiktoker Brian Chira who was arrested last week for harassing radio host and influencer Azziad Nasenya has been charged.Chira was charged with one count of cyber harassment and the prosecution alleged that Chira used his Tik Tok account to defame Azziad.
According to the chargesheet, On July 15 at Kabarak in Nakuru County, he knowingly went live and posted videos on his verified Tiktok harassing Azziad.
“Azziad Nasenya Wafula is a whore, ni malaya hio design s kua najua yaani anadinywa na kila mtu. Kwani hajiheshimu.. kwani huheshimu hiyo kuma yako.. kwani uko na talent ingine gani kama sio kudance and ku-raise hiyo matako, tunajua kama sio hiyo matako yako soft soft haungekua mahali uko” these the words he allegedly uttered against Azziad. He denied the charge before Kibera Principal Magistrate Renee Kitagwa and was released on a sh 50,000 cash bail.
The case will be mentioned on September 12 for pre-trial.
