Lawyer Angela Mulwa Re-Arrested In Court, Expected To Be Charged Over Dr. Mutiso’s Murder

Lawyer Angela Mulwa at the Milimani Law Courts where she appeared today before being re-arrested over the alleged murder of Dr. Victoria Mutiso.

Lawyer Angela Mulwa has been re-arrested at the Milimani Law Courts and is expected to be charged alongside her mother, Rose Mbithe, and brother, Chris Mulwa, over the alleged murder of Dr. Victoria Mutiso.

The re-arrest came as investigators moved to have the three suspects formally brought before court to face murder-related charges.

According to the allegations surrounding the investigation, detectives have been pursuing leads linking the suspects to the circumstances surrounding Dr. Mutiso’s death.

The prosecution is expected to present the three suspects before court and outline the charges against them. The State may also seek directions on how the case should proceed, including any application relating to their detention as investigations continue.

The circumstances surrounding Dr. Mutiso’s death remain the subject of investigations, with the prosecution expected to place before the court the evidence it intends to rely on in seeking to charge the suspects.

Angela’s mother, Rose Mbithe, and brother, Chris Mulwa, are also expected to be presented in court alongside her.

The two have been in police cells for the last 21 days.
