Johnstone Njuguna appeared before Chief Magistrate Benard Ochoi where he devised the charge.
It is alleged that on diverse dates between March 14 and 20, 2024, he unlawfully caused his Iphone to manipulate the Safaricom Mpesa App system with intent to gain access and initiated Mpesa transactions.
He denied the charge and pleaded with the court to grant him reasonable bail terms.
He was released on Sh 200,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh 100,000.
