JSC promotes 24 magistrates from Senior Principal Magistrate to Chief Magistrates.

The Judicial Service Commission has promoted 24 Senior Principal Magistrates to Chief Magistrates position with immediate effect.

In a statement released today, JSC says following
suitability interviews conducted between 20th and March 2, 2023 the Commission approved the promotion of the magistrates.

The magistrates promoted include Pamella Achieng Khamoni, Barbara Achieng Ojoo,Jacinta Atieno Orwa, Josphat Waititu Gichimu,Eunice Kagure Nyutu, Desderias Ambira Orimba, Kibet Sambu, David Wanjohi Mburu,Benard Ondego Ochieng,Esther Boke, Joseph Were Maloba, Carolyne Akinyi Ocharo, Thomas Atanga Obutu and Harrison Omwima Barasa

Others include Victor Wakhumile Ndururu, Daniel Musyoka Ngalu,Thomas Muraguri Mwangi,Benjamin Atiang Mitullah,Anthony Kinuthia Mwicigi, Mary Immaculate Gwaro, Philip Wambua Mutua, Bernard Maina Ochoi,Charles Mutai Soi and Paul Chepkonga Biwot.

The commission has also appointed Honorable Elizabeth Tanui as the registrar of the newly established Automation Services registry.
