Mokaya through his lawyer Danstan Omari had sought a review of the charges against him and inquired whether President William Ruto would be called to testify.

The ODPP informed court that there have been no such instructions given by the DPP and requested the court to set hearing dates.

The matter will be heard on May 29 this year.

It is alleged that he posted the image on his X account, “Landlord @bozgabi,” on November 13, 2024, claiming it was of President William Ruto’s body leaving a funeral home.

Omari had also asked whether President William Ruto will be called to testify in the matter and informed the court that he had written a letter to the DPP over the same.
