Lawyers from the across the country have flocked into Diani for their annual conference ready to learn and network with colleagues.
This year’s theme for the lawyers is on climate change and the Governor Kwale County is expected to grace the welcome reception today at the Diamond Leisure Beach Gold Resort.
The week-long conference that will end on Saturday is expected to be a learning experience for lawyers across the country with big names from CS’s and judges expected to attend.
The Lawyers will also learn about Anti-Money Laundering with emphasis on a lawyer’s role in balancing the competing interests.
Notable guests invited to grace the conference include Gladys Boss Shollei, Public Service and Gender CS Aisha Jumwa, Environment CS Soipan Tuya, Treasury CS Prof Njuguna Ndung’u.
Others include Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjala, Court of Appeal Judge Patrick Kiage and Environment and Land Court judge Oscar Angote.
