A Nursing trainee at Kenyatta National Hospital nursing was on Friday charged with stealing a mobile phone from the said facility.
Cornellius Kioko Munyai was arraigned before Magistrate Gilbert Shikeenursing trainee at KNH is accused of stealing an Infinix mobile phone valued at Sh 40,990 from Muriithi Mwenda.
He was also charged with an alternative count of handling and retaining a stolen phone contrary to the Law.
It is alleged that on October 1, 2024 at KNH, otherwise than in the process of stealing, Kioko dishonestly retained two mobile phones, an Infinix mobile phone valued at Ksh 40,990 and Bahrian Dinar Equivalent to Ksh 14,021, knowing or having reason to believe them to be stolen.
He denied the charges and was released on Sh 10,000 cash bail.
