There is tight security at the Nyamira County Assembly as MCAs table Governor Amos Nyaribo’s impeachment motion.
Journalist and members of the public have been locked out of the assembly by the orderlies.
The motion is expected to the tabled on the floor of the house for deliberation and voting by members.
Last week, 28 out of 34 MCAs appended their signatures for the removal of the county boss.
The MCA’s have accused the governor of failing to perform his mandate.
