Cynthia Lusenga Andayo alias Flora Akoth Okonda had been arrested last week and police produced her in court and got five days to detain her for further investigations.
One of the ladies who was arrested in connection to the murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance director Eric Maigo has been released.
A Nairobi court on Monday released her after the prosecution said that they have no evidence to charge or even continue detaining the alleged suspect.
“After investigations we have forwarded the file to the ODPP and there was no sufficient evidence to charge the respondent herein,” the prosecution said.
The magistrate closed the miscellaneous and the lady was set free unconditionally.
Maigo was stabbed 25 times in his Woodley home by unknown persons and police are pursuing his killers.
Last week, the DCI released CCTV photos of a woman who it has now emerged is a teenager jumping over his fence.
