The Director of Criminal Investigations on Thursday released photos believed to be of the woman who fatally stabbed Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo 25 times.
The DCI is now appealing to anyone with information on the said woman who was captured on CCTV as she was escaping from the house to reach out to them.
In the Pictures shared by the detectives, the woman is seen jumping over the fence of late Maigo Woodley Annex residence through the backside.
In a twitter post, the DCI says they have also recovered two blood-stained knives believed to have been the murder weapons were recovered from the scene of crime.
“Following the gruesome murder of Dr Erick Maigo, in the wee hours of Friday September 15, 2023, detectives are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of the woman whose images appears below,” the post reads.
The DCI further says that as they burn the midnight oil to arrest the female suspect, members of the public are requested to volunteer any information that may lead to her immediate arrest.
Maigo was murdered on September 15 at his house in Woodley and according to the post-mortem, he died as a result of internal and external bleeding from the multiple stab wounds.
