In the pictures you can see Ombati very close to the Governor during the campaigns to the extent of hanging on Nyaribo car.

At the time Ombati was the Medical superintendent in Nyamira county and when Nyaribo took power he appointed him in his cabinet as CEC Health.

However things have drastically changed since then as the governor has now sacked Ombati for embarrassing him.

Ombati has equally fought back for his job by hiring prominent lawyer Danstan Omari to represent him in court where he is seeking to be reinstated back to work.

MCA’s have also threatened to impeach Nyaribo over the same issue and a date has been set to discuss the motion for his removal from office
