A man was on Thursday arraigned before a Nairobi court over allegations of forging documents related to a Ksh 50 million parcel of land located in South B, Nairobi.
Hassan Ibrahim Issak appeared before Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina at the Milimani Law Courts, where he faced multiple charges linked to a suspected land fraud scheme.
According to the prosecution, Issak, together with accomplices yet to be apprehended, allegedly forged a certificate of title for a 0.2296-hectare piece of land belonging to Eveready Security Guards Company Limited. The forged title was made under the name Esteem Energy Limited and falsely bore the signature of Charles Kipkurui Ng’etich.
Issak also faced a separate charge of forging a PPA2 document typically used in development applications falsely claiming it was issued by the Nairobi City County Council.
In addition to the forgery charges, he was accused of willfully and unlawfully demolishing an administration block on the disputed property, causing damages estimated at Ksh 7.5 million.
He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and was released on a bond of Ksh 200,000 or an alternative cash bail of the same amount.
The matter is scheduled for mention on August 14, 2025, for pretrial directions.
