Police have arrested Elvis Otieno Owino, a prime suspect in the violent invasion of Kitengela Sub-County Hospital during the July 7 protests.
According to the DCI, Owino was identified through CCTV footage that captured him damaging property at the hospital. Detectives traced him to his rented house in Noonkopir, where they recovered the black Marvin cap and grey jacket he wore during the attack.
He is currently in custody as investigations continue. Authorities say more arrests are expected as they follow leads to track down other perpetrators involved in the incident.
