Controller of budget Margaret Nyakang’o has been arrested for allegedly operating a sacco without a licence years ago before she assumed her office.
The DPP has approved several charges against Nyakang’o and 10 others.
The others are Jackson Wanjau,Susan Kendi,James Wanyagi, John Kithaka, Jane Ndanyi, Muthoni Elphas, Joan Chumo, Mercy Mukora,Gregory Mailu and Michael Kipkurui.
According to the letter signed by deputy DPP Jacinta Nyamosi, the 11 will be charged with Conspiracy to defraud, Operating a Sacco without a license, forgery and uttering a false document.
