A man who was arrested on Jamuhuri day with 25 rolls of bhang has been charged before a Milimani court.
Simon Mwangi was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi and charged with being in possession of Narcotic drugs contrary to section 3 of the Narcotic Drugs Act.
It is alleged that he was arrested on December 12, 2023, at Tsunami area in Nairobi with 25 rolls of bhang with a street value of Sh 1,250 which was never prepared for medicinal purposes.
Mwangi denied the charges and was released on a bond of Sh 50,000 with an alternative cash bail of Sh 10,000.
