The family of late businesswoman Monica Kimani has asked the court to setence Jowie to death by hanging for brutally killing their daughter.
Jowie was found guilty for the murder of Monica by Justice Grace Nzioka and is set to be sentenced on Wednesday this week.
In a presentencing report filed in court, the family wants Jowie to get the capital setence of death.
Monica’s mother told the probation officer that Jowie should suffer the same fate as that meted on their late daughter which is death.
Probation officer Andrew Kanyutu told court in the report that the mother is the most affected by the death and she could not contain herself when he was interviewing her.
Jowie was found guilty while Jacque Maribe was acquitted for lack of evidence.
