It is alleged that the accused persons attacked and assaulted Joseph Wabwire Wanjala and his colleagues on February 1, 2024 at Tarbisalam construction site in South C.

They all denied the charge and asked the court to release them on reasonable bond terms.

According to the police, the guards allegedly prevented a woman from accessing a construction site where they were working to sell food to the workers leading to their assault.

The police file further states that the woman who was blocked by the guards from accessing the site was a regular who sold food to the casuals which infuriated the workers.

Magistrate Mwangi released them on Sh 10,000 cash bail with the surety of the same amount with a credible contact person.
