MP Zaheer Jhanda threatens to sue blogger Nyakundi for linking him to 1 Billion Gold scandal.

Nyaribare Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda has threatened to sue popular blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for linking him to the Sh 1 billion Fake Gold Scandal.

In a demand letter to Nyakundi, Zaheer says the article by Nyakundi that linked him and two other legislators to the gold scam was defamatory.

Lawyer Charles Gomba says that the words in the article were meant to mean that his client was a dishonest man, fraudster, corrupt and a person of loose moral values.

He further argues that the article which was posted on Twitter now X app also meant that Zaheer collaborated with MPs to defraud innocent people.

Nyakundi has been been ordered to retract and apologize for writing the story failure to which they will move to court to sue him for defamation.

In the article Nyakundi said Zaheer, Senator Allan Chesang and MP Jalang’o had all been linked to the 1 billion fake gold scandal.

Jalang’o has also come out to deny the allegations that were also posted on Citizen Weekly.
