Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo has now reached to MCA’s in a bid to quell the fire of Dr. Timothy Ombati’s sacking that is threatening to take him home.

In a press release, Nyaribo has now changed tune and said he is ready to engage with the MCA’s on their concerns.

The fire that the county boss started has become a wild fire that has united all his political enemies

Their guns are now throwing jabs of corruption to his government forcing him to come out fighting that no money is lost.

The battle has now been taken to his bedroom forcing him to be on the defence. Will nyaribo survive the onslaught?

In the statement, Nyaribo has defended himself saying no money has been lost at the county.

“I want to assure you that no public funds have been misused or misappropriated, and no laws have been violated. Therefore, these allegations are unfounded and politically motivated,” the statement states in part.

Nyaribo further says he has an open-door policy and willing to engage in constructive consultations with the County Assembly.

“I firmly believe that fostering a harmonious and collaborative working relationship between the Executive and the County Assembly is crucial in ensuring effective fulfilment of our respective duties and responsibilities for the benefit of the residents of Nyamira,” the governor said.

This comes days after MCAs threatened to impeach him for abuse of office accusing him of high handedness in the manner in which he sacked Ombati.

28 out of 35 MCA’s had all approved the impeachment of Nyaribo saying they would vote yes if the motion was taken to the floor of the house.
