An Eldoret court has sentenced a Shamba boy who confessed to having sex with a cow to two years behind bars.
Billy Kipchumba shocked court when he confessed to having sex with his bosses cow further adding that he used a condom.
Kipchumba is said to have committed the unnatural act on Monday this week.
He told Principal Magistrate Caroline Wamitta to forgive him claiming that he had a strong sexual urge that he failed to control so he decided to have sex with the cow.
Kipchumba further told court that he was remorseful adding that it was the work of the devil.
His employer said on that day he heard commotion in his cowshed and upon checking he found Kipchumba pants down having sexual intercourse with his cow.
In her ruling, the magistrate said that she had heard the facts which had not been disputed by Kipchumba after pleading guilty.
While sentencing Kipchumba, the magistrate said all animals should be treated with respect and dignity as human beings.
She sentenced him to two years in jail and told him that he has 14 days to appeal.
