The family of Brian Mwenda who has been charged with masquerading as a fake lawyer has urged the court to release it on bail.
In new affidavits filed in court, his sister, cousin and girlfriend have vouched for him and asked court to grant him bail.
On Thursday, LSK had asked court to deny him bail saying he is a flight risk.
Through his lawyer Danstan Omari, the family says Mwenda is of good character and she will be his contact person.
Yvone Makena says that the Investigating officer can reach her incase of anything if Mwenda is released on bail.
She says she stays in Embu and police are free to visit her home to confirm.
She says Mwenda is of great moral standing and a known member of the society.
His cousin Samuel Karani says he can also be reached by the police and will be his contact person.
He will ensure that Mwenda attends court at all times and is sure that he will clear his name.
Mwenda’s girlfriend Sumaya Yunis says she will also be a contact person for him further vouching for his character.
