The family of the late Hon. Joel Munuve Kimanzi has confirmed, through their legal representatives Danstan Omari and Shedrack Wambui, that they have received preliminary results from the postmortem examination.
According to the family’s lawyers, key elements of the autopsy included the collection of various samples; such as stomach contents, specific organs, and viral swabs; which have been submitted for further laboratory analysis.
The family stated that they are now awaiting the final results before making any definitive public statements.
They also expressed concerns that Hon. Munuve’s death may have been preventable, suggesting that a proper diagnosis and timely medical intervention could have saved his life.
A comprehensive statement from the family will be issued once the conclusive medical analysis is complete.
