The main suspect in the gruesome murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance director Eric Maigo was arrested yesterday night in her hideout in Kibra slums.
The teenager who sat her KCPE last year was identified as Ann Adhiambo Akinyi who is said to be a minor has been on the run from police after escaping from Maigo’s woodley estate after stabbing him 25 times.
Police are holding Akinyi at the Muthaiga police station and she will be transferred to Kilimani Police station which is the jurisdiction where the offence is being investigated.
She will be arraigned in court today as per law being within 24 hours after arrest.
