Nyamira leaders had a meeting and resolved to have the proposed Nyamira University in every constituency in the county.
The leaders present at the meeting held yesterday include Governor Amos Nyaribo who chaired the meeting, Senator Okon’go Omogeni, West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka and Kitutu Masaba MP Clive Gisairo.
Others were North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, Borabu MP Patrick Osero (Borabu), Woman Rep Jerusha Momanyi and Nominated MP Irene Mayaka.
The leaders resolved that Kisi University should conduct a feasibility assessment on six centers and come up with a report, which will inform the best location for Nyamira University headquarters.
The centres are Senator Kebaso and Bomondo Primary, Sengera Manga Mixed and Manga Model, Kiabonyou High School, Riakima, Ikonge Boys and Simbauti Farm.
The leaders also unanimously agreed that the proposed Nyamira University shall have a constituent college in every constituency.
