The family of the late MultiMedia University student Sylvia Kemunto whose body was murdered in her hostel within the campus has threatened to sue the university for among other things negligence which led to the death of their daughter.
Speaking at Montezuma after her postmortem, family lawyer Danstan Omari said a lot of questions have not been answered on the circumstance that led to the death of Sylvia.
While accompanied by the mother of the deceased who was overcome by emotions, Omari even questioned why the university never sent anyone to the postmortem to stand together with the family as they seek justice.
There was no representative from the university only the government pathologist and the family pathologist who both came to the same conclusion that the late Sylvia was strangled.
Lawyer Shadrack Wambui also for the family said he would be moving to the high court to put the university to task about the many security lapses inside the campus that made it easy for the suspect to kill the girl
