The Law Society of Kenya(LSK) on Friday held a Purple Ribbon March through Nairobi’s Central Business District to honour advocates Edward Kariuki and Esther Keige, whose deaths have prompted renewed calls for justice and accountability.

The peaceful procession began at the Milimani Law Courts before proceeding through the city centre and culminating at the Supreme Court. Lawyers and supporters wore purple ribbons as a symbol of remembrance, solidarity, and their commitment to the rule of law.

Senior Counsel Philip Murgor while addresing the media outside Milimani Law courts, he called for thorough investigations into the deaths of advocates Edward Kariuki Muthee and Esther Wairimu Keige, saying the legal fraternity will continue demanding justice until those responsible are held accountable.
