The march was led by LSK President Charles Kanjama and was attended by Senior Counsel Martha Karua, former presidential candidate George Wajackoyah.

Participants walked through major streets in the CBD carrying placards and chanting slogans demanding justice for the two advocates. LSK said the procession was held to honour the memory of Edward Kariuki and Esther Keige while reaffirming the legal profession’s commitment to justice, accountability, and the protection of the rule of law.

Senior Counsel Philip Murgor while addresing the media outside Milimani Law courts, he called for thorough investigations into the deaths of advocates Edward Kariuki Muthee and Esther Wairimu Keige, saying the legal fraternity will continue demanding justice until those responsible are held accountable. He noted that the legal fraternity had previously marched over the deaths of advocates Charles Mbobu and upto now no perpetrators have been brought to court. Murgor said proper investigations and accountability are essential to upholding the rule of law.
