Sleuths in Kilifi County are investigating a robbery case where five armed men broke into Advocate Danstan omari’s client pastor Ezekiel Odero’s New Life and Prayer Centre Church.
The incident occurred on the night of June 1, 2025, when five armed individuals broke into the church premises. The suspects, reportedly dressed in police jungle uniforms and wielding machetes (pangas), scaled the perimeter wall and entered the church compound.
Once inside the main church hall, the robbers encountered three men engaged in prayer. The intruders blindfolded them, tied their hands, and forced them to lie face down.
Among the stolen items were a covenant box, a gold-plated tray, a kettle, six gold-plated cups, and a unique item referred to as “chuma ya meno saba,” whose value has yet to be determined.
Police have confirmed the arrest of two church security guards and a 24-year-old suspect in connection with the robbery. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to apprehend the remaining culprits and recover the stolen property.
