Drama unfolded at the Kibera Law Courts after an activist was arrested for disrupting proceedings during the delivery of a ruling in the bail application of OCS Talaam.
Justice Diana Kadveza was midway through her decision when the activist began shouting and causing a commotion inside the courtroom. Prosecutor Awiti immediately urged the court to take action, prompting Justice Kadveza to order the activist’s arrest.
A court orderly swiftly took the activist into custody as Justice Kadveza made it clear that she would serve as a witness in the matter.
