The DCI officers investigating the matter claimed that had not concluded investigations over alleged theft from her employer.

“Upon interrogation, the respondent admitted that she has been taking money on diverse dates and giving it to her boyfriend,” police claim

According to court papers, Tracy has also confessed to using part of the money she has been stealing from her boss to build a house for her grandmother in the village.

Police claim that the Chinese employer Yu Yanping made a report that Tracy had been allegedly stealing from her house.

The court heard that Yu Yanping a Chinese businesswoman working in Kenya said she discovered that she had been losing money from her house and to be sure she decided to calculate all her money in the house where she discovered that a total of 20,000 USD was missing.

The police said they need time to obtain Mpesa Statements from Safaricom for both Tracy and her boyfriend.

The Court detained her until tomorrow when it will issue a ruling on whether to allow the police to detain her or not.
