West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka has written to the DCI requesting for investigations into misappropriation of over Sh 1 billion at the Nyamira County.
In a letter to the DCI, Mogaka says that he was writing in a bid to seek for investigations into alleged embezzlement of funds amounting to over Sh 1 billion by both Nyamira County and Nyamira county assembly.
Mogaka claims that there is looming failure and collapse of services at the county which has led to loss of funds.
“Flowing from these acts of hooliganism and embezzlement, information has been availed suggesting that the serious acts of fraud and misappropriation has been going on in Nyamira County for the last five years amounting to Sh
1 Billion.
