The four appeared before Justice Kanyi Kimondo at the Milimani Law Courts, where the murder charge was read to them.

Judge Kimondo directed that the four be taken for mental assessment before they are presented before Justice Alexander Muteti, where they are expected to formally answer to the murder charge.

The court further directed that PC Kibelion be provided with a probono lawyer after it emerged that he did not have a lawyer.
