A suspected ‘mchele babe’ was arraigned before a Kibera court and charged with stupefying a senior director of a five star hotel and stealing valuables worth over Sh 1.6 million from him.
It is alleged that Jackline Wanja Nyaga on September 5 in Langata within Nairobi County jointly with others not before court conspired to commit a felony of stupefying
Wanja was charged with another count of stupefying to commit a felony and it’s alleged that she spiked Steve Andebe’s drink using an overpowering drug in order to steal from him.
According to the charge sheet, Wanja stole two phones valued at Sh 280,000, USD 250, DTB Bank Platinum Card and cash Sh 1,338,400 from Andebe’s bank accounts all valued at Sh 1,618,400.
She denied the charge before Chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi and pleaded with the court to give her lenient bail terms.
Magistrate Mwangi released her on a Sh 1 M bond with no alternative cash bail.
